Shop made san-mai using alternating layers of wrought iron and 15n20 for the cladding with a core steel of 1.2519, forged geometry with a deep etched KU cladding, the deep etch creates a wood grain effect on the KU but is still smooth and easy to maintain. Bevels are ground with a progression of synthetic and Jnat waterstones (working finish) and finished with uchigumori fingerstones. Geometry would be considered workhorse lite
